For nearly 20 years, I have been passionate about working in clay. My work includes useful pieces such as bowls, plates, jars and vases as well as ornamental pieces like pears and vox forms. In all my work, I celebrate texture, color and the unpredictable nature of clay, glaze and fire. I am Particularly drawn to accenting with metals and natural elements, including rock. I love to imitate antiquity with works that look aged and worn, My journey with clay includes vast experimentation, acceptance of failures as necessary paths to successes, and most of all, excitement in the act of creation itself.
