My created works are in watercolor and colored pencil. Choosing a subject to paint may include vintage items, people and places, contrasting textures, and colors, and the unusual may elicit my attention.

My recent trip to Paris France has inspired me to keep moving forward. Rediscovering the Masters in person has added fuel to my creative fires. The atmosphere, music, people, master's studios, food, and camaraderie has also swirled its influence.

Previously I have been inspired by instructors: Valorie Snyder, Jean Hansen, Arleta Pech, Cindy Haase, Diane Fechenbach, and Debra Bayes. My quest is to improve awareness and keep evolving in my art.
