David Parks
Mr. Parks has been photographing for over 35 years initially using only black and white film. Color film slowly worked its way into his portfolio but he always kept black and white as part of his work.
After a 28 year career with a Cincinnati corporation, he abandoned the wet darkroom for the digital world. This allowed for the use of many tools to not only enhance reality but to alter it as well which gives him the means for greater expression. Whether it is color or black and white, he strives to create images that, hopefully, not only inspire him, but others as well.
Mr. Parks has had exhibitions at Betts House in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2014 and The Carnegie Arts Center in Covington, Kentucky in 2015. He has also been selected to participate in juried shows at the Spark Gallery in Denver, Colorado in 2015 and the Littleton Museum Gallery in Littleton, Colorado in 2016. Also In 2016, he participated in the Cincinnati FotoFocus, a city wide celebration of photography with over 50 venues.
