Roxborough Arts Council (RAC) - February Events

Jan thru Feb
Community Outreach by artists of RAC!   A Mural project on the walls adjacent to the entry for the Roxborough Library in the Marketplace.  “Reading Angels” will be completed by the end of February.

January 24
Mosaic Mural
 to be installed!  Created by students enrolled in the “Take Part In Art” project (TPIA) at the RoxboroughIntermediate School, instructed by RAC members led by P. Jenkins in collaboration with the PTIC, the Dedication Ceremony will be upcoming; date TBA.

February 2

RAC Meeting – 6:30 at the Firehouse Community Room

February 9
Chatauqua at Roxborough Park Community Building, 7-9pm.  RAC member, lawyer, and PhD in Communication Studies will be speaking on “Freedom of Speech”.  Free speech includes all kinds of things you might not ordinarily think of as "speech", including freedom of artistic expression.  Come join us and throw in your two cents on how much free speech you can stand.  Open to the public!

Minimum number of students is five
Adult classes can include well behaved 12+ year olds.
